Actuary / Mathematician / Statistician – Pricing and Method Development

You develop, handle and optimierst pricing, risk and forecast models for products of damage / accident insurance in private, commercial and industrial customer business In doing so, you use statistical methods, multifactorial models and data science methods to predict customer behavior, damage development and profitability in a resilient manner You are an expert in product development and you are a key player in tariff calculations and profitability analyses for the optimal design of our products with Predictive risk models, such as the cancellation or damage forecast, will be developed further and will increase their significance through innovative methods and the integration of external data (e.g. geo-analytics) In close cooperation with departments and IT, you also identify and implement data-driven optimization potentials and work, for example, on a platform to support underwriting You prepare results for addressing, represent them in the company and support the board, departments and the actuarial function in analytical and academic issues

You have pronounced analytical and conceptual skills, a quick understanding and a sense of responsibility and quality You are characterized by a high commitment, pleasure in teamwork and the ability to adjust yourself to different people A university degree, ideally in mathematics, statistics or data science, you have successfully completed with Master or comparable You are Actuar*in DAV or Certified Actuarial Data Scientist (CADS) or willing to complete the training quickly and effectively with our support Insufficient professional experience is helpful, but also professionals with initial practical insights are welcome You have a potential for modeling and algorithms and can convince with good knowledge in data analysis, machine learning, multivariate analysis and forecasting methods Knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Python, SAS, R, Databricks), openness for modern work forms and very good German knowledge complete your profile All applications are processed by our partner company upo.
