For our customers Rheinmetall in Kassel, an internationally leading technology group in the field of safety and mobility, we are looking for a metal welder (m/w/d). The globally operating group develops and manufactures specialized vehicle solutions on wheel and chain, including combat, support, logistics and special vehicles, which meet the highest requirements for protection, mobility and safety.

• As a metal welder (m/w/d) for safety-relevant vehicle components in Kassel, you align aluminium components and weld complex vehicle designs according to technical drawings
• They independently determine the appropriate welding parameters and are guided by construction and production documents as well as material thickness and material properties
• Your area of responsibility as a metal welder (m/w/d) for safety-relevant vehicle components in Kassel includes stapling and single-layer and multilayer welding of assemblies and components with component lengths of up to 26 meters
• With your welding expertise, you ensure the production of safety-relevant vehicle components and contribute significantly to the performance of the systems
• Your work will make you an important contribution to the production of high-security special vehicles and strengthen the quality at the Rheinmetall site Kassel

• For the position as a metal welder (m/w/d) for safety-relevant vehicle components, you will bring a completed training in the metal craft – for example as a construction mechanic (m/w/d), industrial mechanic (m/w/d) or in a comparable profession, supplemented by sound welding experience
• For use at the Kassel site, valid welding tests are of advantage and support in the professional execution of demanding welding work
• In handling technical drawings, you are safe as a metal welder (m/w/d) for safety-relevant vehicle components and work on aluminum components in different material thicknesses
• A strong sense of quality and responsibilities characterize your profile and contribute to the high production quality at Rheinmetall
• In addition, you bring the willingness to shiftwork and thus support a smooth production process at the Kassel site
