Manager Control Tower (m/f/d)

You take over the operational control and monitoring of a strategic international customer account for the EMEA region and ensure high transparency through ongoing shipments You monitor the onwarding processes from 7 days before ETA at POD to container unloading, gate out, delivery and return of empty containers Keeping in mind all relevant consignment status, milestones and operational processes within the EMEA region You recognize delays, bottlenecks and operational risks at an early stage and assess their potential impact on customer performance In critical events, you act as a central coordinating body and secure timely information and escalation to the relevant contact persons As part of operational governance management, you monitor relevant KPIs, milestones and compliance with more defined You identify recurring operational problems, guide improvement potentials and help to optimize existing processes Through transparent reports, consistent monitoring and targeted escalation, you will ensure clear responsibility within the EMEA network You support the uniform implementation and compliance of customer-specific SOPs with the European Operations teams You work closely with local operational teams in Europe and the Global Account Director in Hong Kong A responsible position with a high international focus and direct influence on the quality and stability of customer processes

You have at least 7 years of professional experience in forwarding, logistics, supply chain, operational management or ideally in Control Tower You bring a very good understanding of the European destination and onwarding processes In dealing with operational deviations, critical situations and escalations, you could already gain well-founded experiences Your strong analytical skills help you identify operational risks at an early stage, assess their impact and initiate appropriate measures You work structured, solution-oriented and keep an overview even in complex or time-critical situations Good knowledge of KPI and performance monitoring as well as experience with reporting and process management complete your profile Very good English skills in word and writing are required for this position, German skills are advantageous You convince by your own initiative, enforcing and a pronounced hands-on mentality
