Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

You control and optimise our purchasing and procurement processes in close cooperation with management, project management and construction management. You take over the strategic purchasing of construction services, materials and services and contracts and conditions. You're testing offers, supporting procurement decisions and making business and timely procurement. You enter and evaluate suppliers and entrepreneurs and develop existing partnerships. You analyze purchasing costs, first evaluates and reports and identify optimization potentials. You check invoices, control budgets and support transparent and regular project execution.

You have a commercial or technical training or a study in the field of civil engineering, economic engineering, business management or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have already gained experience in purchasing – preferably in construction, underground, track or infrastructure construction. In addition, you will bring a good understanding of construction processes, performance directories and project costs. Knowledge in the context of railway projects or German railway processes is advantageous, but no prerequisite. You work analytically, structured and cost-conscious and convince by negotiation skills and communication strength. Your sense of responsibility and your independent working processes complete your profile.
