The Department of Labour Safety is directly assigned to the Clinical Board and advises the various clinical and scientific areas of the University Hospital in matters of occupational and health protection. In addition, interfaces include organisational fire protection, hospital hygiene, resilience and crisis management as well as other safety-related areas.

Activity as a specialist for occupational safety under the Labour Safety Act (ASiG) Independent safety-related care of defined clinical, scientific and administrative areas Advice to managers and support in risk assessments and the development of appropriate safeguards Implementation of operations, documentation of the results and follow-up of determined actions Analysis of work accidents and safety-related events and participation in planning, procurement and change processes Cooperation in committees and projects and further development of occupational safety management in cooperation with the participating departments

Complete university studies in a field suitable for occupational health and safety, in particular in the fields of engineering, biology, chemistry or a comparable subject Ideally already completed qualification as a specialist for occupational safety. Alternatively, the willingness to acquire the qualification as a specialist for occupational safety in a timely manner First professional experience in occupational and health protection is desirable, but no compelling requirement Interest in the special requirements of a university clinic with highly specialized clinical, scientific and interdisciplinary work areas Representative communication and consulting skills in dealing with different professional groups and hierarchical levels Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Ability to understand legal and technical requirements and to develop practical solutions together with those responsible Responsibility, team capacity and willingness to work on new topics

Compensation under the collective agreement TV UK (Tarif Contracts – AGU Uniklinika) in pay group 11 UK to pay group 13 UK (Entgelstable TV UK.pdf). The specific grouping takes place taking into account your qualifications and the activity to be carried out. The respective level of experience depends on the relevant professional experience.
