We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. Within the Center of Competence, the team's trial planning, prototype logistics & workshop control ensures optimal IT support for the business processes of our business partners in the development of cars, power trains and vans. Among other things, we are responsible for the individual application SAFiR, which supports hardware planning for about 3,000 users in the development of cars, power trains and VAN. The functions range from demand query and quota planning to configuration and time planning including change management to rebuilding and testing planning over the entire life cycle of prototypes. As a working student*in – IT Product Management & Digital Transformation, you have the opportunity to help shape the modernization process of our enterprise application. This includes the following tasks: Create user journeys and use cases for a cross-border portal and the use of microfrontends by independent analysis
Create and hold training for the inventory system and for new modernized appication products
Create instructions and tutorials for new application products
Creating slide sets for our modernization project that are suitable for communication towards management and visualize the coming system landscape
Testing the functionality and quality of new application products
Support in the quality of documentation

Studies: Higher Education in Computer Science/Economics/Media Science or Comparative Qualification
Experiences and specific knowledge: Practical experience in product management and digital transformation
Basic understanding of the development principles of modern web applications in microservices environments.
Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
IT knowledge: Secure handling of PC, Windows and Office
Strong interest in digital transformation and the translation of processes from the real world into IT systems
Database and programming identifiers are advantageous, but no requirement
