The system engineer diagnosis & maintenance of digital systems is responsible for the system analysis of vehicle diagnostics (diagnosis communication, error codes, event logs, interfaces, backend and workshop tools), which are analyzed from requirements & stakeholder needs and integrated within the E/E architecture (physical vehicle architecture).

Creation of vehicle functions (Border, GVA & light systems, air conditioning, sensors, actuators, etc) from the Rh diagnostic specifications and the UDS standard Analysis of data communication between the modules or ECU Integration of diagnostics in C4ISR environments Examination of effects of errors across system boundaries, structured analysis of complex fault images, from signal to total vehicle Creation of diagnostic concepts across multiple control units Error tree analysis, root cause analysis using measurement and analysis tools (e.g. CANoe) Accompanying the call phases & series development and coordination with the technical project management, system team & expert teams to achieve the KPIs & milestones

Complete study in Engineering, E-Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science Experience in Systems Engineering, System Requirements & MBSE for mechatronic products System experience in vehicle development according to the V-model, control unit topology and networking in the entire vehicle, E/E architecture Knowledge of on-board diagnostics (OBD) & UDS (ISO 14229), CAN, Ethernet Experience in dealing with DOORS Classic, Cameo/ Rhapsody, PDM Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Strong analytical and systemic thinking across domains Ability to abstract complex systems with structured working
