The Corporate IT (CIT) of Carl Zeiss AG is responsible for IT for all business areas of ZEISS. The diversity of the ZEISS portfolio has an exciting complexity. The continuous growth and the pursuit of innovation combine Greenfield strategies, retrofit projects and integrations of new locations in this position as project manager Connected Smart Factory (m/w/d).

The planning, management and control of Connected Smart Factory projects in the ZEISS production areas according to the IT Project Management Framework (classical, hybrid & agile).

Connected Smart Factory projects include the introduction, development and rollout of the ZEISS MES standard processes based on SAP DM and S/4, machine connectivity via the Manufacturing Service Bus, process optimization and control via Condition Monitoring and Machine Learning, Track & Trace solutions taking into account the requirements for a secure and highly available OT infrastructure.

Responsibility of projects from initiation to successful implementation with the Connected Smart Factory team in corporate IT and all other participating CIT experts, e.g. IT Security, IT Operations, InfoSec, as well as Business IT and the relevant specialist areas in production

Compilation of all project dates, project costs and project capacities and monitoring of the cross-project resource distribution and project KPIs

Target group adequate preparation and consulting of solution concepts and process standards, their visualization and communication

You have a successfully completed study of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Production Management, Production Technology (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent combination of training and professional experience

Founded professional experience as project manager in the environment of MES systems, ideally with SAP DM or ME, production automation, shopfloor management, machine integration or logistics and successful transition to operational operation

Ideally extensive knowledge and certification in project management (Scrum, IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 or the like)

English and German knowledge in word and writing

A high level of self-initiative (hands-on mentality) and a very structured and targeted approach

Excellent method skills and broad knowledge in (agile) tools and tools (ServiceNow, Office, SAP)
