The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Niederrhein is active in child and youth assistance, vocational education and counselling. We take care of children, young people, adults and families in special situations of life. Our facility is represented at the Niederrhein in Kleve, Kevelaer, Emmerich am Rhein, Geldern and Duisburg with more than ten locations. Around 300 employees help, support and accompany 2,500 people, participants and visitors.

The Open Full-Day School (OGS) at the Kleve funding centre is an institution for children of classes 1 to 6 with special educational needs in the areas of learning as well as emotional and social development. These children cannot be taught at regular schools and find a protected learning and habitat among us. Our work focuses on the needs and resources of each individual child – with respect, clarity and aspiration. Currently, around 50 children visit our OGS, where a multi-professional team of eight professionals, trainees and interns is active. We understand ourselves as part of the school community and work closely with teachers, parents and cooperation partners. Accompanying and support during the learning period: They accompany the children in their school tasks and promote individual learning Design of games and leisure activities: They organize creative and movement-oriented free games and structured leisure activities Planning and implementation of holiday activities: Together with the team, you will develop varied programs for holiday periods Guided educational offers: They carry out thematic group offerings and set specific impulses for social learning, self-effectiveness and joy of life Working with parents, school and network partners: They create a trusted, partnership-based collaboration with parents and support the multi-professional teamwork Child protection and care protection: They act responsibly according to current requirements and consistently implement protection concepts

They have completed training as a state-recognized teacher or have a comparable educational qualification They bring experience in the field of action school – ideally in full-time or in special educational contexts You have a fine feeling for children who do not correspond to the 'classical' school picture Reliability, sense of responsibility and team spirit are of course for you.
