(Senior) Compliance WphG Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks include You ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements according to WpHG, MiFID II, MAR, PRIIPs and other relevant regulations and continuously develop the compliance management system in the field of securities services You carry out control actions and monitoring measures - from transaction monitoring and market abuse monitoring to best execution to customer classification - and document these audit-proof You formulate internal policies, work instructions and procedures and implement regulatory innovations in the securities sector structured in the institution You advise specialist areas in all WpHG compliance issues, accompany new products and processes within the scope of the product release process and train employees on compliance-relevant topics You carry out risk analysis (comliance risk assessments), evaluate suspicion cases (e.g. insider trading, market manipulation) and, if necessary, identify suspicion messages (STOR) You regularly report to management and supervisory bodies and are the central contact person for internal audits, BaFin and Bundesbank

What you bring You have a degree in economic, legal or financial sciences (focus on capital market law); relevant certifications such as Compliance Officer WpHG are advantageous You have well-founded knowledge in WpHG, MiFID II, MAR, MaComp and adjacent regulatory requirements You bring multi-year experience in compliance, law or internal auditing of a value-paper trading institution or an audit firm in the Financial Services sector You have experience in building or operating a compliance management system as well as performing risk analyses, control actions and monitoring You work structured and precise in the evaluation of complex trade data, trade independently and communicate safely with management and supervision You are willing to take over the function of the WpHG compliance officer with a direct line of report to the management; you master MS Office safe, ideally bring trade-surveillance experience with you and have very good German and good English skills You have knowledge of German in word and writing and can also communicate very well in English
