For our Department for Children's Cardiology, conducted by PD Dr. Muhannad Alkassar and Dr. Sigrun Karsten, we are looking for an experienced and children's cardiologically interested specialist or Facharzt der Kinder- und Jugendmedizin, who supports our team in the optimal care of our small patients!

Tasks:

• Self-responsible examination, diagnosis and treatment of newborns, children and young people with congenital or acquired heart defects
• Application of the entire spectrum of child-cardiological diagnostics, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress studies (spiroergometry), long-term ECG, long-term blood pressure measurement and pacemaker and event recorder queries
• patient care after heart surgery or interventional intervention within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Enlightenment talks with parents and relatives about illnesses, diagnostic findings and therapeutic options
• Commitment in medical education, further education and training, including teaching for assistant physicians
• Participation in shift service / standby service according to your qualification

Requirements:

• Completed or largely completed training to the specialist / to the specialist for children and youth medicine
• Interest in children's cardiology and paediatric intensive care
• Responsible, independent and structured operation
• Strong interest in in interdisciplinary cooperation and joy in shaping new structures
• Excellent commitment and high commitment
• Team spirit and excellent social skills in dealing with people
