Number: MER0003RJC The team of logistics process planning is responsible for the intralogistics of the assembly halls 3 and 93 in the Mercedes-Benz plant Bremen. In these halls, the logistics department plans, controls and optimizes the internal material flow. A dedicated student*in is sought, who investigates a restructuring of the logistics area in the assembly hall 3 as well as the adjacent logistics halls 31 and 33 as part of his/her final work and evaluates possibilities for optimizing the material delivery on a assembly line. These challenges come to you: Introduction to the intralogistics and shopping cart deliveries of the assembly hall 3 including the driverless transport systems (FTS) and the material flow. Participation in logistical process and system optimizations, in particular with regard to FTS and the optimization of the supply sequences of the Sportcars series Independent processing of a project for space saving in logistics by redesigning the current material supply at a selected assembly line Transparent representation, analysis and optimization of work and range results The Bachelor's thesis can begin in September 2025, for 3 months.
