Welcome to the team: Together we are driving the climate-neutral building stock ahead – join us as: (Senior) Product Engineer IoT Gateways (m/w/d), Full-time, R-103514 Location: Eschborn The body can be occupied in full-time or part-time from 32 hours per week.

You implement and manage the production of our current and future IoT gateway solutions together with our manufacturing partner (EMS). You verify the functionality of the devices and ensure compliance with our quality requirements through suitable measurement methods as well as accelerated life time testing. You accompany the introduction of hardware and rollout into series production and are responsible for the quality assurance of electronic devices – including the analysis of manufacturing and field problems. You create and evaluate manufacturing and testing concepts for electronic components and complete devices. You always keep the whole thing in mind and control as well as monitor the construction of production, testing technology, integration of production IT and quality processes at our service providers and suppliers. In addition, you work continuously in exchange and interdisciplinary with other specialist departments to develop optimal solutions together.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of engineering, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with multi-year professional experience. Ideally, you bring experience in product engineering in the development or project environment. You have high quality standards and a good understanding of quality assurance in the production of IoT devices. Practical experience in testing and production of embedded system devices is of course for you. Knowledge of the tools Jira and Confluence are beneficial. You will certainly communicate in German and English. Own-responsible, result-oriented work as well as commitment and team capacity are the key to you.

Our IoT gateways are battery-powered, wireless devices with microcontrollers (embedded systems) and LTE mobile modems.
