Senior IT System Administrator - IT Infrastructure / Network (m/f/d)

At our mission we work with currently 240 colleagues at our two sites in Konz (Rheinland-Pfalz) and Ilmenau (Thüringen). You are the heart of our company and the guarantee for our success. You install, run and wait the servers, workstation PCs and other hardware You take care of the installation, operation and maintenance of all network programs and assist in installing workstation-related software You support network security monitoring and protect against unauthorized access You monitor IT, both hardware and software First-level support for employees You are the contact person for external IT service providers and work closely with the IT management on optimization measures regarding performance, costs and AI as well as suggestions for improvement

You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in the administration of IT systems You have an IT training or a commercial/technical training with corresponding training You have extensive administrator knowledge of the software used, in particular MS Windows, MS Office and ideally FactWork and Phoenix, and in the network administration (Microsoft, Linux, VMware etc.) You work proactively and independently You think analytic and entrepreneurial You have communicative skills and speak fluent German and good English
