Technical product designer in shipbuilding structure design (m/f/d)

In the course of further growth, we are currently building an additional team to support our existing organization. In this position, you support project planning for the German contractor and develop structural concepts for boats and ships. This combines precise drawing creation with technical understanding for structural integrity, security and efficiency. Your tasks at a glance: You create detailed drawings and 3D models for structural ship components and implement constructive requirements. The close coordination with design, project management and adjacent specialist areas ensures that all structural requirements are correctly integrated into the designs. Existing drawings and models check and update regularly, adapt them to new technical conditions and secure a standard documentation. In the course of further development and innovation projects, you introduce your know-how, support new structural designs and contribute to the continuous improvement of methods and standards in the structural design.

(m/w/d) or a comparable technical qualification Multiannual professional experience (approximately 2-5 years) in a constructive environment, ideally in shipbuilding or in the maritime industry Very good knowledge of 3D modeling, preferably with Siemens NX Experience in the standard design of technical drawings Ideally user knowledge of structural design software (such as Nauticus Hull or Rules Calc) Basic knowledge of requirements management (e.g. IBM DOORS) and knowledge of relevant naval regulations, standards and standards are desirable. German language skills and safe handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) readiness for occasional international travel (about 5%)
