Team Leader Transport Control (m/f/d)

Leadership and further development of a central transport function team including employee development and motivation. Ensuring efficient, standardized transport processes in Europe and continuous process optimization according to PDCA. KPI control with focus on cost, OTIF, data quality, delivery performance and network optimization. Close cooperation with internal areas (purchasing, customer service, warehouse, technology) and external partners; central interface function. Responsible for tendering, carrier management and project implementations. Ensuring compliance, auditing, documentation and coordination of customs issues. Control of daily business (Control Tower, Ticketing, Advertising, Planning), Carrier reviews and special projects.

Completed commercial training with several years of relevant professional experience in the field of forwarding, transport or logistics Very good knowledge with SAP (especially SAP ECC modules LE, TM, SD, WM) or similar tools and MS Office. Comprehensive operational experience in Europe-wide transport control (FTL, LTL, Groupage) including carrier management and ideally knowledge of customs and/or hazardous goods processing. Analytical strength, pronounced process and optimization orientation (lean methods of advantage) as well as structured, KPI-based and independent mode of operation. Experience in leadership, further development and motivation of a team (5-member), including prioritization, coaching and operational control. German and English language skills.
