(Project) Engineer for shipbuilding equipment and ship operation technology (m/f/d)

In this position as a project engineer (m/w/d), you are involved in the design and design of modern overwater vehicles for the contractor. You bring your technical know-how into challenging studies and projects, develop robust technical solutions and work closely with internal specialist and external industrial partners. Your tasks at a glance: You take over the design, compilation and specification of equipment and equipment components for seacraft as part of project planning and supply phases. In the course of project planning projects and studies, you will process technical questions, develop solution proposals and bring them into further project work in a structured manner. In addition, you will work with the creation of technical evaluations, decision-making templates, as well as with the commercial assessment of technical solutions, including the identification and reduction of risks. In your role, you control industrial partners and suppliers, support their contributions professionally and ensure compliance with technical requirements. You also support the coordination with customers and clients and contribute to professional technical communication in the project environment.

Complete studies in the field of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding or shipbuilding As an alternative: a qualification as a technical ship officer (m/w/d) or master (m/w/d) in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering or ship operations Professional experience on a shipyard, in a company of the maritime industry or the German Navy desirable Good knowledge of relevant regulations, standards and regulations of internationally recognised classification societies and maritime standards Experience in the technical evaluation of complex systems as well as in the handling of industrial partners, suppliers and contractors User knowledge of 3D modeling software (ideally Siemens NX) and in request management (e.g. IBM DOORS) desirable Secure appearance and sovereign communication in cooperation with customers and external partners as well as negotiation experience Ready for occasional, international missions (approx. 10%)
