After Timo and Otmar Horl's design and construction competencies were the first generation of roller grinders, we left the local factory cellar and are represented today with two office locations in Freiburg. Together with our growing team, we continue to write the HORL® history and look forward to attracting more and more people both nationally and internationally.

If digital surfaces are to be more than beautiful shell, it needs strong components, a clean system and an eye for details. That's exactly what we're looking for: You develop scalable UI modules and bring structure, design and function into perfect balance – focusing on performance, UX and code quality.

Modular UI components: You develop and provide reusable front end components according to the Atomic Design principle – flexibly, efficiently and sustainably.

Interface to Design & Marketing: You work closely with the design and marketing team and implement landing pages, UX concepts and campaigns in high-performance frontends.

Technical decoupling: You separate business logic and UI components cleanly from each other to ensure reusability, testability and wartability.

CI/CD & Automation: You implement and handle automated build, test and deployment processes – from GitHub Flow to pipelines to productive playout.

Backend integration: You develop and promote services with NestJS, oriented to clean code and domain-driven design.

Infrastructure as Code: You actively shape infrastructure components – e.g. by implementing IaC concepts with AWS & Terraform.

Code quality & standards: You ensure code quality through reviews, testing (Jest, Testing Library), SonarQube, Namings and clearly defined conventions.

Teamwork & Documentation: You are involved in technical coordination with interdisciplinary teams and document your work in a comprehensible way.

You have completed your studies or training in the field of IT/development – or you will convince us as a cross-comer*in with relevant projects.

You have at least two years of practical experience – ideally in an agency or in comparable projects.

React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, HTML/CSS, Git, Headless CMS, GraphQL, JavaScript (ES6+) and Responsive Design are part of your tool box.

You have a good understanding of UX principles and consciously convert them into your components.

Ideally you bring experience with Atomic Design, Condition (or other state management tools), Testing (Jest, Testing Library), CI/CD basics and performance optimization.

Clean code, naming conventions, component architecture and structured documentation are of course for you.

You work hands-on, think architecturally, question existing solutions and bring new ideas.

You are open, team-oriented, criminal, and place just as much value on clean communication as on high-quality code.

You act as an interface between the departments so that very good knowledge of German will be required.
