The Klinikum Esslingen is a hospital of central care, which lives from and through the diversity of its employees, places particular emphasis on modern medicine and collegial atmosphere and is deeply rooted with the city of Esslingen on the Neckar and its people. The hospital apotheke of the Klinikum Esslingen provides a total of about 30 employees to the clinic and four external hospitals with a total of about 1,500 beds. The acquisition of another pharmacy supply is in preparation. In the area of cytostatics about 16,500 preparations are produced per year in newly built rooms. The hospital apotheke supervises approximately 40 clinical studies each year in cooperation with the oncological departments. A unit dose supply is in preparation.
