Project Developer IoT & Energy Data (m/f/d)

Planning the IoT equipment of heating systems: In close coordination with the technical service, you will play a key role in the planning of the IoT equipment of heating systems, taking into account the entire process chain from the sensor to the data storage. IoT Hardware/Software: You are fully responsible for installing selected IoT hardware and software on site, taking into operation, analyzing malfunctions, troubleshooting and controlling external service providers for repairs. Service provider control: When working with service providers, you take an important co-responsibility by monitoring the contractual performance and coordinating individual assignments from the supply pickup to the realization and billing. Support for IT infrastructure: Together with internal IT and external partners, you are responsible for regularly monitoring and controlling the relevant systems along the entire data process chain from the technical system to the end user. Process development: You support the further development of business and service processes based on the existing data pool, advise on optimization, digitization and automation, and accompany their implementation in cooperation with the area of software and process digitalization. Market research: As a co-designer, you evaluate, research and test new technologies on the market in order to operate existing systems optimally and to develop them functionally. Data management & data quality: For a high data quality and completeness of the data, you have the main responsibility: you define test rules and filters, perform plausibility checks, analyze vulnerabilities and initiate measures to eliminate errors. Quality & continuous improvement: You build a quality management with a continuous improvement process, define suitable quality test points in processes together with the stakeholders and thus ensure that test standards are adhered to and reliable data bases are created.

You have a university degree in a technical field, e.g. electrical engineering, energy technology or computer science, or you have a completed (information) technical training with an appropriate additional qualification, e.g. as a technician or comparable. Ideally you bring at least two years of professional experience in a comparable position in the IT environment and/or in the building automation. With sound know-how in the areas of IoT, bus protocols of building automation as well as network technology, you are going to be confident. In addition, you have gained first experience in project management, ideally in the context of digitalization. In MS Office and MS Power BI you move safely and draw your attention through a high IT affinity. You communicate fluently in German and have at least B2 level knowledge of English. In addition, you are highly motivated to continue professionally and personally.
