Conception, operation and continuous development of our central IT infrastructure – from networks to routing, VPN and firewalls to virtualization solutions Administration, optimization and ensuring the stable operation of our Linux and UNIX system landscape Integration of systems into the processes of central IT, for example in the fields of documentation, monitoring and backup Identification, optimization and automation of recurring tasks and processes Support and planning of the physical infrastructure, including servers, network devices and server rooms at the genoese sites Active participation of new topics, projects and technologies in infrastructure and cloud Technical exchange and knowledge transfer within technical areas

A successfully completed training as a specialist informant or comparable IT-oriented qualification; alternatively a completed technical study Very good knowledge of how to use Linux systems and sound network skills Experience with and enthusiasm for open source software Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies Experience with automation solutions – ideally with puppet or ansible Practice in dealing with Git and advanced basic knowledge in Python or other script languages Enthusiasm for IT security as well as a structured, solution- and security-oriented operation Team spirit, initiative and willingness to take responsibility German knowledge in word and writing; good English knowledge Ideally first contact with ISO 27001 or interest to work into the topic Behave with us - even if you mean not to be able to fulfill everything that stands here.
