Project Engineer Tunnel Equipment (m/f/d)

In this responsible position, you take over the planning and technical coordination of the tunnel equipment according to the requirements of RE-ING. The aim is to create an authoritative and executable planning taking into account all relevant interfaces, quality requirements and project-related framework conditions. In addition, you will assist in the award and implementation of the measures. Your tasks include, in particular, the development of requirements and boundary conditions for tunnel equipment in the areas of operation, safety, availability and maintenance. You work closely with the team management, the tunnel management, the operation and other project-related bodies. You develop technical solutions, variants and rehabilitation concepts for tunnel equipment. This includes, inter alia, the areas of energy supply, lighting, ventilation, video and detection technology, BOS and emergency call systems, sound systems, fire and safety functions, communication and transmission technology, EMSR technology as well as control and automation technology, including the connection to operating and control systems. In addition, you take over the technical control of commissioned engineering offices. This ensures the quality, timeliness, completeness and the proof of the planning services. You check, comment and consolidate planning levels and provide the required plan maturity to the respective project milestones. Another focus of your activity is the interface management within the project team and external stakeholders. You ensure consistent interfaces between the individual subsystems of the tunnel equipment as well as overriding operating and monitoring structures, such as tunnel or traffic centers, OT and control systems as well as project-specific data point and protocol structures. You shall also ensure compliance with the relevant directives, regulatory requirements and standards, in particular RE-ING and the requirements of the Federal Highway Agency. This also includes the technical evaluation of different implementation variants. As part of quality assurance, you carry out technical reviews and plan examinations and contribute to ensuring cost, time and risk targets. In addition, you support the procurement and implementation processes by creating professional contributions to award documents, performance descriptions, technical contract conditions and test criteria.

You have completed university studies in electrical engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience. Ideally, you bring experience in the independent processing of complex specialist tasks in the field of tunnel equipment and can evaluate technical variants in a sound manner and develop decision templates for project and team management. In addition, you have experience in the technical control of external planning offices and ensure high planning quality and consistent interfaces. You have in-depth knowledge of contract and contract law (including the Law on Competition Restrictions (GWB), regulation on the award of public contracts (VGV), contract and contract regulations for construction services (VOB), manual for the award and execution of freelance services in road and bridge construction (HVA F-StB), manual for the award and execution of supplies and services in road and bridge construction (HVA L-StB) A valid passenger ticket is required.

That would be desirable: Technical delivery conditions for route stations (TLS), guidelines for traffic signs at federal highways (RWVA), guidelines for traffic signs at federal highways (RWVZ), guidelines for the planning process and for the uniform design of design documents in road construction (RE). Knowledge of the handling of additional technical contractual conditions (ZTV) is also desirable. In addition, knowledge in road law, in particular the road transport order (StVO), the Federal Road Law (FStrG) and the rules for securing jobs according to RSA and ASR A5.2 are advantageous.
