Senior Consultant (m/w/d) to be fixed for five years. Support of directory services via all relevant data of users, computers, networks etc. Installation, configuration and support of the PC workstations and integration of these into the existing IT infrastructure Accompanying the IT procurement process from consulting the demand points, collecting the requirements, creating performance directories and obtaining and comparing offers and performing the goods receipt control and inventory Acceptance of fault messages and requests in the helpdesk system as well as prioritization of error messages/requests for urgency and severity of the problem Perform fault analyses, identify the fault and cause of error, search for measures to eliminate errors and solve disturbances Consultation of users with any hardware and software problems within the framework of the 2nd level support Documentation of IT processes, processes and solutions in a knowledge management system

A successfully completed IT-related vocational training or comparable relevant qualification with relevant multiannual professional experience Ability to adapt to different target groups (e.g. students, teachers, administrative staff) and communicate effectively Knowledge and experience in dealing with directory services Knowledge and experience gained in the installation, configuration, operation and support of PC workstations and peripheral equipment Good knowledge of IT procurements and current IT hardware from different manufacturers Knowledge of common operating systems Windows, Linux and MacOS as well as standard office applications (e.g. MS365) Ability to understand complex facts and to document them easily and understandably Impressed orientation to the needs of the clientele as well as high service orientation, pleasure in team work and dealing with people High level of self-employment and self-responsibility when working readiness for regular continuing and continuing training Knowledge of higher education is desirable Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1 level) English knowledge is advantageous Ability to join a team and collaborate with other departments and departments
