The Land Kompetenzzentrum Forst Eberswalde (LFE) is looking for a Scientist for the management of forest ecology in the field of forest ecology and monitoring. An indefinite setting in full time is planned from the next date. The work site is located in 16225 Eberswalde, Alfred-Möller-Straße 1.

Organisational, administrative and technical management of the field of expertise and deputy management of the Department of Forest Development and Monitoring Scientific further development of forest-ecological research in Brandenburg, including the establishment, initial and repetition events of the natural forests, comparison areas and forest-ecological experimental and monitoring areas (Geo)Statistical analysis and modelling of the spatial dynamics of forest development under the conditions of climate change and location change, management intensity taking into account various factors of influence Organise cooperation with other subjects, external specialists (e.g. individual groups of species) and institutional partners Creating research reports and scientific publications Designing, recruiting and managing third-party research projects Working in relevant specialist bodies and specialist working groups
