Patent Engineer (m/f/d)

You actively contribute to the development and implementation of our patent strategy. You support product development in avoiding violations of intellectual property rights, assess inventions and define protective features for patent and design applications. By researching the state of the art, you will ensure the “Freedom to Operate” and evaluate the results professionally. With modern research tools you continuously monitor the international patent and competition environment. You independently supervise national, European and international patent applications and disputed procedures and work closely with external patent lawyers and lawyers.

You have completed a degree in a scientific field and have already gained first professional experience in patent law. In the patent research, in particular with commercial databases (e.g. IP7 Compass), you are versed and create routined fonts for applications as well as inventor reports. Knowledge in the laboratory environment of the life science sector is advantageous. You can identify complex technical issues and present them precisely. You convince with high communication and team skills as well as a structured, careful and targeted way of working. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
