Federal-Mogul Friedberg has been a leading manufacturer of piston rings, cylinder bushings and drive seals in the automotive and industrial sectors for many years. We are looking for a Process Engineer Galvanik (m/w/d) for our large piston ring division.

These include in detail: Self-responsible implementation of projects in the field of machine procurement, continuous improvement (CVP) and occupational safety Coordination of internal departments, including R&D (e.g. quality assurance and optimizations, experimental planning and support of the cell for thermal coating), laboratory (quality control) and engineering Defining and ensuring smooth processes to ensure efficient operations Planning and implementation of new technologies at the site to improve production processes Conception and implementation of capacity expansions to meet future requirements Technical management of the team maintenance/maintenance in the field of electroplating to ensure optimal plant availability Responsibility for the evaluation of electrolyte analysis results and derivation of appropriate measures (e.g. new batch, partial new batch, cutting), including clarification in the event of uncertainty with the chemical laboratory Fungieren as an internal contact for authorities, in cooperation with the EHS team

This is your professional and personal profile: Complete university studies in chemical engineering, surface engineering, materials engineering, industry or a related field, or equivalent vocational training Multiannual professional experience in electroplating and coating technology Found expertise in electroplating and coating technology, including the technical hard chrome coating Experience in managing and coordinating project teams, including successful implementation of projects Excellent problem-solving competence and strong knowledge in problem-solving methods Self-employed, analytical and solution-oriented working methods, coupled with a high self-initiative German and English knowledge in word and writing in at least C1 level
