We are looking for an animal nurse at the next possible time - Zoo (m/w/d) Full time, limited to 30.06.2027. The animal garden Ulm in the Friedrichsau houses over 2,000 animals from around 150 species. In natural enclosures and facilities such as tropical house and aquarium, he combines professional animal care with environmental education and species protection. Payment is made up to 6 TVöD.

Your tasks: responsible care of the zoo animals (mainly wild animals) including all animal care activities in all animal areas and careful documentation Animal training, animal transport support and participation in veterinary treatments easy craft activities: repair work in and on animal enclosures as well as cooperation in new and redesigns active participation in exhibition feeding, press and public formats Service trips, winter service support and reception of readiness

Your profile: completed vocational training as a zoo animal nurse Driving licence class B, ideally BE, as well as safe driving practice craftsmanship and willingness to weekend, holiday and winter services responsible, safe handling of animals and high reliability and loadability team-oriented, polite and service-oriented personality with professional appearance towards visitors and media
