Electronics Engineer / SPS Programmer – Focus Beckhoff (m/w/d)

Location: 56566 Neuwied

Your tasks with us: Where TwinCAT meets high-tech

• Automation with system: You are responsible for the electrical installation and commissioning of our laser systems. You are wiring complex control cabinets, attach Beckhoff I/O components and secure communication via EtherCAT.
• Beckhoff programming: You adapt existing software modules in TwinCAT 2/3, parameterize laser controls and optimize HMI surfaces. You love it when the code controls the mechanics precisely.
• The final check in the house: Before a plant leaves our work, your hour strikes. You carry out internal functional checks, play the software and make sure that all safety circuits (TwinSAFE) and interfaces work smoothly.
• Start-up in Germany: You accompany your machine to the finish. You travel to our customers, integrier the plants in their production lines and officially launch the software. In case of tricky errors, you are the professional for diagnosis – on site or via remote maintenance.
• Digital engineering: You’re planning the schematics (e.g. in EPLAN) and you’re planning a clean documentation of the software stands so that our systems remain maintenance-friendly in the long term.

With this you fit us

• Your basis: You have completed training as an electronics technician for automation technology, mechatronics with focus on electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. technician).
• Your Beckhoff know-how: You bring profound experience in programming with Beckhoff TwinCAT. Terms such as EtherCAT, Structured Text (ST) and TwinSAFE are not foreign words for you.
• Welcome as a cross-release: You have worked with other systems so far, but are you burning to work into the Beckhoff world and modern laser technology? We support you intensively!
• Your mindset: You think logically, work structured and enjoy solving complex problems in the interaction of software and hardware.
• Your communication: You speak German for sure. As our customers operate internationally, good English skills are a plus for local applications.
• Your mobility: Your travel activity for global commissioning is moderate. A passenger car license (class B) is mandatory.
