Strengthen our team as a database administrator – Oracle / MSSQL (m/w/d) at one of our locations across Germany. In the area of Operational Services, we provide operating support for more than 1,000 customers from all industries. Our specialized specialist teams work hand in hand to ensure customer operation, constantly improve and implement the best solutions in case of problems.

As a System Engineer (m/w/d) in the Team Databases, you become part of our currently 7-member database family and are responsible for ensuring the liquid and safe operation of our customer systems in the Oracle and Microsoft SQL servers. You analyze and troubleshoot errors, optimize performance and minimize downtime. This includes: Installation, configuration and administration of Oracle and Microsoft SQL server databases Backup and Recovery of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases Monitoring and performance analyses Takeover of regular maintenance work (matches, updates) Troubleshooting in Second and Third Level Incident, Change and Problem Management Participation in readiness to ensure smooth operation

Graduated IT-oriented training as a specialist informatics (m/w/d) for system integration or completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, software engineering, etc. Found experience in the administration of Oracle databases (from version 11g, both classic architecture and multi-tenant) Good knowledge of: Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle high availability (e.g. Data Guard, RAC) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL servers (version 2012), incl. Always-On availability groups and failover clusters Safe handling of Linux and Windows systems Remarkable: Basic knowledge of monitoring (e.g. Checkmk, Nagios), Oracle Enterprise Manager, Database Cloud Services (Azure, OCI, etc.), Windows Failover Cluster or PostgreSQL Teamability, service orientation and independent, structured working Willingness to work on new topics and technologies Good communication skills with very good German (level C1 or higher) and English skills (level B2 or higher)
