As a senior DLT developer, you will develop innovative DLT-based solutions for interoperable and secure central bank digital currency. This role goes beyond traditional development work – here, you will help shape the future of European payments. You will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing DLT solutions for both the retail and wholesale sectors. You will conduct technological experiments, manage integration into existing infrastructures and develop smart contracts. Your work will not only influence technical developments, but will therefore contribute to the international expert discourse. You will represent the Bundesbank as one of the leading institutions in the area of central bank digital currency.

Master's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related discipline At least two years' professional experience and extensive knowledge in the development and provision of DLT systems (balance based on Hyperledger Fabric) At least two years' professional experience and extensive knowledge in software development, including programming and smart contract programming Good knowledge of API development and the integration of DLT solutions into existing IT infrastructures Good knowledge of CI/CD, version control systems (e.g. Git), and the provision of cloud applications Good knowledge of IT security (e.g. cryptography) Strong analytical and conceptual skills Negotiation skills and powers of persuasion Ability to organize work tasks independently and work in a team within an agile environment Very good English and good German communication skills
