ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.

Your job You measure and test micro-optical/ holographic systems and opto-mechanical components and assemblies with respect to compliance with all required quality parameters You set up the required measuring and testing equipment and ensure a logging according to appropriate test regulations You support the development of concepts for test tasks both in pre-development and in series development You test measuring and testing equipment as part of the pre- and series development You support measurement technicians, test technicians and machine leaders in their incorporation and daily work You also support the solution of emerging quality problems and provide technical assistance for the protection of new measuring and testing methods

You have completed studies or completed vocational training in a technical field, preferably in measuring and testing technology, optical measuring technology or technical physics You have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of (micro-)optical measuring and testing technology, in particular in quality assurance in development and series production / in the machine environment You have a well-founded knowledge of the use of measuring and testing equipment for (micro-)optical components, both in development and in the field of production You are experienced in carrying out test tasks on (micro-)optical and opto-mechanical components and assemblies and are able to independently develop problem solutions and check for effectiveness You are characterised by a balanced self-initiative and an excellent communication strength that enables efficient and cross- team cooperation You have experience in the technical guidance and incorporation of employees in the immediate field of activity Perspectively take on occasional service trips in the European area to our customers / cooperation partners JOBV1_EN
