About us: The Department “Economic Youth Assistance, Child Day Care, Early Help, Youth Promotion and Sport” is currently responsible for 28 employees, in particular for all the tasks of the performance parole within the Eighth Book of the Social Code (SGB VIII). The subject area “KiTa Recht & Financing” covers the implementation and management of the financing of day care in accordance with the provisions of the Schleswig-Holstein Children’s Day Funding Act, the reduction of parental contributions, the placement of care places, the participation in type-approval procedures with regard to regulatory requirements and the planning of the childcare services in the Steinburg district. A challenging range of tasks awaits you in close cooperation with various people and institutions.

Head of expertise KiTa Financing & Law Processing of basic matters in the field of childcare (implementation of legislative changes, further development of the subject, etc.) Examination of the minimum structural standards for day care facilities in accordance with the requirements of KiTaG and, where appropriate, Introduction of further measures or conditions Participation in the framework of the type-approval procedures for day-care facilities pursuant to § 45 SGB VIII Consultation of institutions and municipalities in the context of the financing, planning and management of local day care Completion of public contracts with cities and offices on the implementation of administrative tasks in the areas of child care and parental contribution reduction and other agreements with institutions and municipalities
