Object Engineer Coating (m/f/d)

Coordination of all coating and surface preparation work during the construction phase according to the technical specifications Ensuring compliance with specifications, standards (e.g. ISO 12944, NORSOK, IMO PSPC, BV 1900) and quality requirements Removal of coating work with the competent classification company and the customer or contracting entity Creation, maintenance and approval of construction and progress reports, test and hour sheets Close coordination with project management, production management, shipyards and classification societies to achieve the dates and quality objectives Implementation of GEMBA missions, coordination of refurbishment measures and ensuring occupational safety Priority in operating daily business including Development of solution scenarios for future conflicts as well as sustainable optimization of process and operational planning taking into account all stakeholders

Complete technical studies or comparable training in the field of surface engineering, material science, shipbuilding or a related field At least 10 years of experience in ship or offshore coating, of which at least 8 years in coordinating or operating role on construction projects Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 12944, NORSOK, IMO PSPC, BV 1900) and experience in quality and acceptance management overlapping guide experience in the coating or Foreign trade and demonstrable control of several subcontractors Safe knowledge of German and English in word and writing, including specialist English for international communication Experience in the handling of digital planning and documentation systems (MS Office, PLM/PDMS, possibly CAD) and in the production and control of test and acceptance documents Communication strength, sense of responsibility, flexibility with respect to changing applications, safe occurrence to customers and clients as well as experience in the handling of Fregattenbauprojekte and leadership of Baustelle teams
