As a Team Lead Supply Chain Operations, you are responsible for operating control and performance – and run the team that makes our goods flow possible every day. You report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Operations and work closely with operative dispatchers, specialist workers, import, export and customs specialists.

Your tasks

Operational control: You monitor ongoing orders, secure delivery schedule, control critical flows of goods and process operating escalations – so that the agreed service levels stand. Suppliers & procurement: You are responsible for the operative disposition of suppliers – from order management and delivery date monitoring to quantity control to ensuring the availability of goods. Stock management: You keep the stock levels in the optimal range, avoid out-of-stocks as well as stocks and support the forecast implementation. Service provider control: You control warehouse and transport service providers in the daily business, monitor their performance, track critical shipments and clarify deviations to the solution. Customs & Documents: You ensure proper customs processing and complete, correct and timely processing of all goods, transport and customs documents. Leadership: You run and develop your operational team professionally and disciplined – from deployment planning and target agreements to coaching to feedback talks. Control via key numbers: You control KPIs such as OTIF, delivery schedule, inventory accuracy and error rate and take concrete measures. Improvement & Digitization: You recognize potentials in day-to-day business, impact operational improvements and implement them together with our Specialist Process Excellence.

Commercial training or studies focusing on logistics, supply chain management or business management. Found experience in the operative supply chain and already responsibility for a team or leadership role. Secure handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) as well as KPIs and reporting. English safe in word and writing. You are going to address themes in a solution-oriented manner, communicate clearly and take responsibility. Nice, but no need: experience in import/export and customs processes, in the control of external warehouse and transport service providers as well as further language skills.
