Here you are responsible for the target architecture in the financial sector and shape the further development of our SAP, data and AI landscape. As a central architectural entity, you combine strategic goals with a stable, secure and scalable implementation and create the basis for future financial and AI applications. In close cooperation with Enterprise Architecture, Finance & Controlling, IT and Group-wide AI-leads, you are actively working on the further development of our platforms.

Integration of data from SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA as well as BTP services in modern Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures. deriving architectural decisions (e.g. patterns, interfaces, security) from business requirements and governance requirements. Building and developing a future-oriented AI platform architecture in the SAP context (e.g. SAP AI Core, SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP BTP). Definition of reference architectures, blueprints and guidelines for integration, analysis and AI scenarios. Establishing standards, guidelines and best practices for the use of AI, integration and data architecture in the SAP and finance context. Supporting the departments and product teams throughout the life cycle from the first idea to PoCs to the production solution. Analysis and optimization of existing architectures and support in troubleshooting, including active participation in projects.

Complete study of (economic) informatics, mathematics, engineering or a comparable qualification. Multiannual experience in SAP architecture or SAP engineering as well as with modern data platforms (Data Lake / Lakehouse), ideally in the finance/controlling environment. Very good knowledge of SAP technologies (including S/4HANA Finance, BW/4HANA, SAP BTP) and integration and data architectures (APIs, eventing, interfaces). Experience with enterprise architecture and governance processes (e.g. architecture boards, design reviews, security releases). Know-how in the field of AI in the SAP context (e.g. SAP AI Core, SAP Business AI, Joule) as well as basic understanding of AI/ML Use Cases. Confidence with regulatory requirements (e.g. AI Act, GDPR) as well as common architectural methods and frameworks. Very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English (B2) as well as strong communication skills, a structured way of working and the motivation to actively promote topics.
