Security Engineer (m|w|d)

Analysis and development of security requirements for different product types and embedded systems – including Secure Elements and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) – in the areas of embedded, mobile and cloud security. Design of security architectures in close cooperation with product architects, taking into account the impact of security measures on functionality and performance. Consultation on security certifications (e.g. common criteria or comparable standards) and support in the planning and implementation of evaluations. Integration of cybersecurity aspects into development processes: You accompany our customers in establishing safe development, testing and delivery cycles and align with relevant standards such as ISO 15408, ISO 27001, ISO 21434 or IEC 62443.

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Equivalent Qualification Professional experience in security engineering Preference for conceptual work to solve complex problems at strategic level Analytical mindset, thorough working and team skills Experience in security evaluation and certification of IT products (by Common Criteria, FIPS or other security certification standards) Experience in Information Security Management and IT Network Security German and English language skills in word and writing Willingness to occasionally travel Of advantage are: Experience in safety analysis and curing of highly secure embedded systems General knowledge of cryptographic primitives and protocols Practical experience in software development Basic knowledge in the field of network communication and its protocols (e.g. TLS) Experiences in dealing with DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Gitlab, Jenkins) Experiences in handling bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira, YouTrack)
