As a (senior) test manager, you are working on PLAIN, a data analysis and AI platform that forms the basis for data engineering projects in a multi-edge setup. This includes the construction of the technical infrastructure as an on-premise solution in the data center and the development or Integration of existing software systems for virtualization, containerization, automation and monitoring. Design and control of a test strategy and partial test concepts for an on-premise data analysis and management platform in close cooperation with stakeholders (e.g. architecture, (lead) product owners, service and quality management) Management of test planning and implementation as well as formulation and development of the automated testing strategy Professional leadership of Test Engineers in the respective development teams Responsibility for quality assurance in the context of organisational and technical measures in operation Definition of quality criteria (Quality Gates) for building the platform infrastructure and selection of test tools and control of integration of different test tools into the system landscape Takeover of the definition of framework conditions for test code/glue code for BDD testing and code for test automation Reporting of test results as well as maintenance and improvement of existing test cases and workflow

Complete study of computer science or a comparable discipline as well as well as well-founded experience in the development and documentation of test cases in terms of functionality, API, performance, integration and usability Practice in the professional management of employees in the development or test area Experience with component, acceptance, integration, load and stress tests, with debugging and performance measurements, with tools such as Postman or SoapUI and with unit and infrastructure tests in the container and development environment Secure knowledge of microservices tests in complex architectures with CI/CD structure and pipelines, e.g. Gitlab pipeline/Jenkins, as well as basic understanding of DevOps activities comprehensive know-how in the field of test automation (front end and backend), behavior-driven testing as well as in frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Knowledge of programming languages for end-to-end, UI and function tests (Gherkin) Experience in test management in agile projects (Scrum) and with ticket management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence) Flowing German knowledge in word and writing (C1) and good English knowledge for technical exchange (B2)
