Supplier Manager (m/f/d)

Continuous monitoring and further development of the assigned supplier portfolio in terms of quality performance, timeliness and compliance with technical, regulatory and contractual requirements Analysis, documentation and reporting of supplier non-conformities (internal/external), including root analysis, definition, follow-up and verification of corrective and preventive measures Analysis of external requirements (legal, customer-specific and normative requirements), balancing and optimising internal requirements as well as deriving and implementing specific supplier requirements Preparation, implementation and follow-up of supplier audits and support for external audits and regulatory inspections on supplier-related topics Investigation, selection and implementation of suitable methods and tools for continuous improvement of internal processes, quality management system and cooperation with suppliers Ensuring compliance with air navigation and customer-specific standards and requirements in the supply chain (e.g. EASA, FAA, EN/AS 9100, Part 21, Part 145) and monitoring of supplier compliance (e.g. release processes, certificates, release documentation, traceability) Participation in the selection, qualification and approval of new suppliers and the creation and evaluation of supplier risk analyses Identification of cost reduction potentials in the supplier and production processes and support in the implementation of optimization measures Close cooperation with purchasing, development, production, logistics and quality management to ensure a consistently high supplier performance across the entire product life cycle

Complete technical or business studies (e.g. economic engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, supply chain management) or a comparable qualification Professional experience in supplier management, quality management, strategic purchasing or in a comparable function Experience in the regulated environment, ideally in the aerospace industry or a comparable regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceutical industry, medical technology) Good knowledge of relevant quality methods and tools (e.g. 8D report, FMEA, 5-Why, Ishikawa)) knowledge of air navigation-specific standards and regulations, e.g.: EN/AS 9100 series; EASA/FAA regulations e.g. EN/AS 9100 series, EASA/FAA regulations (e.g. Part 21, Part 145), ideally experience in the NADCAP or DOA/POA environment Experience with audits in the aviation environment (2nd/3rd party audits, authorities audits) is advantageous Embossed analytical and conceptual thinking capacity as well as a structured and independent way of working Safe occurrence, communication strength and enforcement ability in dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders High quality and cost awareness and pragmatic implementation strength Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness for international travel (delivery visits, audits)
