Technician/Engineer as Sub-Project Manager in Ship Machinery and Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

You take over the professional leadership and control of internal and external design teams and ensure efficient implementation of demanding marine projects. The technical design of machine construction systems as well as the coordination of all relevant components in the 3D CAD system CADMATIC Outfitting are your responsibility and create the basis for a smooth project development. As a central interface, you coordinate cooperation with customer representatives, suppliers, authorities and classification societies and ensure a targeted coordination of all project participants. From the technical testing and approval of specifications and drawings to the evaluation of contract changes and customer requests, you actively contribute your expertise to project management and supply creation. The overall responsibility for your subprojects – from commissioning to construction to production management, commissioning and sampling – offers you the opportunity to sustainably shape the project success.

You have completed engineering studies, for example in the field of shipbuilding, shipbuilding and marine engineering, mechanical engineering or maritime technology, or have successfully completed a further training as a technician in the field of shipbuilding technology or machine technology. Multiannual experience as a project manager or in a comparable function in marine or shipbuilding enables you to safely and independently control complex projects. Funded knowledge in a 3D CAD system as well as ideally experience with CADMATIC outfitting and Siemens Teamcenter help you efficiently process sophisticated design projects. Embossed technical understanding and good spatial imagination help you to safely evaluate complex relationships and develop practical solutions.
