Number: MER0003ODK In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We mean innovative products with the highest quality and efficient and agile development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz in the future. In the Access and Immobilizer Systems department (RD/KBS), we develop new, cryptographically secured systems and components for the access and driving authorization of the future. We have set ourselves the goal of making our systems safe and comfortable for our customers. Keyless systems with smartphones and smartwatches are becoming increasingly important in the future. These activities include: Development and construction of an E/E testbench: They are responsible for creating and building a test stand for a distributed vehicle system with multiple customer functions Extension and operation: They extend the test bench as needed and ensure smooth operation They work closely with the functional development team and support it in tests, demos or trials They acquire components and information from various departments and coordinate cooperation They develop a deep understanding and an overview of vehicle networking Working with diagnostic, simulation and analysis tools: They use tools such as Vector CANoe or Softing DTS9 for bus communication and perform simulations and analyses

You are a registered student in a technical course, ideally electrical engineering, vehicle technology, computer science or a related area You have basic knowledge of vehicle networking and ideally experience with diagnostic, simulation and analysis tools such as CANoe or DTS9 They are able to efficiently acquire and coordinate components and information They like to work in the team and are communicative They are motivated to work independently and take on new challenges You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing You have an analytical way of thinking and strategic working Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
