Strategic responsibility: Takeover of the holistic procurement and sourcing of key components and materials – primarily for electrical switchgear cabinets and switchgear Strategy development: Conception and implementation of future-oriented purchasing strategies for the associated product groups Supplier management: Active selection, evaluation and development of national and international suppliers (technical and commercial) Negotiation: Professional leadership of complex contract and price negotiations to ensure optimal conditions Project Purchasing: Perform project-related negotiations and ensure timely availability of materials in compliance with schedules and budget specifications Interface Management: Close, cross-departmental cooperation with internal teams (e.g. development, construction, production and quality) Market analysis: Continuous market monitoring and analysis for identifying potential savings, innovation and alternative sources of procurement Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring precise procurement documents and ensuring compliance with internal control mechanisms Process support: Targeted support of Indirect Procurement (IP) in complex problems

Qualification: A successfully completed study in the field of economic engineering, business management, supply chain management or equivalent qualification Expertise: Multiannual professional experience in strategic and/or technical purchasing, preferably in the environment of electrotechnical components or plant engineering. Languages: German and English knowledge in word and writing (further languages of advantage) IT-Skills: Routinized handling of ERP systems (such as Navision) and secure knowledge in MS Office Soft Skills: Embossed communication, negotiation and enforcement strength combined with an analytical and solution-oriented thinking capability Technical know-how: A sound technical understanding of electrotechnical components and their specific application in control cabinets and switching systems
