Number: MER0003XOU Powertrain is responsible for the complete drivetrain of conventional and electrified Mercedes-Benz cars, from the first conception of new products to market launch and beyond. The drive train comprises motor, transmission and the battery and high-voltage system in electrified vehicles, and is the heart of the performance of each automobile. In addition to product management of the individual vehicle series, our department operates cross-functionally and offers in particular insights into departments of development, communication and our international regions and markets. These challenges include: Active design of change towards electromobility through cooperation in product management eDrive Compact & Midsize in the topics battery, electric drive, eDrive performance and integration into the entire vehicle

Participation in exciting, future-oriented concept and specification contributions for electrified Mercedes-Benz vehicles in coordination with regions and markets worldwide, development and project partners

Monitors and presentation of current and future trends and their importance for the field of electromobility

Tracking and compiling specific customer requirements regarding the performance, range and loading of our vehicles

Continuous implementation of quantitative and qualitative competitive analyses in the field of electromobility

Participation in the preparation of international workshops, committee meetings and regulatory bodies, as well as the preparation of board templates

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Course in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Communication Sciences (with focus on marketing) or a comparable degree course

Previous knowledge of market/competition environment in the field of electromobility and interest in electromobility are desirable

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

High commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Creativity

A strong interest in the automobile

driving licence class B
