Geoinformatiker/-in GeoIT Administration (m/w/d) We are looking for the city survey office of the state capital of Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. The focus of the field of geoIT administration and support is the operation and supervision of the central geoinformation systems (GIS) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart as well as other specialist systems. This includes the administration of GDI infrastructure components and GIS user service. In addition, the subject area for the support of Smart City is components such as e.g. Digital twins responsible.

They are responsible for coordinating the GIS user service. They control them in terms of content and organization, and are in direct contact with the users and present the supervised GI systems and applications They design and coordinate training and tutorials in the field of GeoIT and provide targeted impulses for the further development of the GIS user service They manage city-wide GI systems, in particular the metadata information system, GIS infrastructure components and GIS specialist procedures of various offices and self-employed They support project work in developing and implementing GI systems and applications They represent the GIS user service in inner-city working and user groups

completed studies at a university in the field of geoinformatics or a comparable degree course with deeper knowledge in the field of geoinformatics or geoinformation management and relevant professional experience well-founded knowledge in the topics GeoIT system operation and administration, GeoIT user service, introduction of GeoIT methods, geodata infrastructures, data modeling and geodata management Knowledge of the standards in geoinformatics, ESRI-Enterprise technologies and Open Source geoinformation systems (e.g. GeoServer, QGIS) Knowledge of geodata processing with FME/SQL and in geodatabases (Oracle, PostgreSQL with PostGIS) Experience in the coordination of teams, dealing with common methods of project management and good understanding of interdisciplinary topics and an innovative understanding of technology mastering the German language with very good communication skills and clear expressiveness in word and writing
