IT-System Administrator (m/w/d) (administrator/administrator)

to occupy the HISinONE Campus Management System. The location is assigned to the department 6 – Campus IT. Employment in parttime is possible in principle.

The two campus management systems are merged into a new system by the merger of the University of Applied Sciences Bochum with the former University of Health. We are looking for you to support the existing project team and help with the administration of the existing systems. Implementation of updates, technical support and further development of the Campus Management System Self-responsible analysis and sustainable improvement of complex, cross-system disturbances Implementation of legal requirements for the digitization of administrative processes in the field of student and audit management Planning and implementation of complex system migrations, extensions and modernizations Advice from users and managers to technically demanding IT issues Aministration, maintenance and optimization of database systems (PostgreSQL) Administration and implementation of updates of the corresponding Linux server Coordination and technical guidance of external service providers

Complete university studies in the fields of computer science, technology, economy or natural science Experience in implementing IT software projects Knowledge in the administration of database management systems (required: PostgreSQL) Good knowledge of SQL programming language Good Linux skills Good knowledge of current web technologies Ability to abstract and mathematical-analytical thinking

Knowledge and experience in the following areas are desirable: willingness to engage in complex relationships Willingness to work into the structure and processes of a university Contact and team skills Good knowledge of the MS Office package
