IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

System and network management You take over the installation, administration and maintenance of our workplace systems, servers, networks as well as storage and backup systems (SAN, VMware). You manage and maintain our Microsoft system landscape (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows clients) and Microsoft Azure. You continuously develop our network infrastructure based on Cisco switches and support IT-side integration and protection of production systems (OT). You are responsible for the procurement, installation and renewal of hardware and software as well as the software distribution and license management. IT Security & Privacy You implement technical and organisational measures for information security and data protection. You maintain our central antivirus, backup and disaster recovery solutions and continuously develop our IT security standards. Support & Operation You support our users in 1st and 2nd level support, analyze and troubleshoot IT skills and monitor our system landscape. You create and maintain technical documentation and actively collaborate on IT infrastructure projects. You work closely with internal departments, the IT colleagues of other EEW locations and external service providers.

You have a successfully completed training as a specialist informant (m/w/d) for system integration or comparable IT training. You bring several years of professional experience as a system administrator in the IT sector. You have a well-founded knowledge of Microsoft Server Landscape Administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange), VMware, Storage and Network Technologies (including Pure Storage and Cisco). Ideally, you have experience in the field of OT (operational technology/operating IT). You work independently, systematically and solution-oriented. You are characterized by a strong sense of responsibility and a high degree of flexibility and willingness to use. You can communicate clearly and work in the team. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
