CNC lathe (m/w/d)

In this position you work in a structured manufacturing environment with modern CNC lathes. Their focus is on the precise processing of demanding components, the safe implementation of technical drawings and the continuous monitoring of production quality. You take responsibility for your entire work area – from cough to process monitoring to quality testing.

Your Tasks as CNC Turner (m/w/d)

• Stand-alone brushing, setting and retracting of modern CNC lathes • Selection and matching of suitable tools and cutting parameters corresponding to material and component geometry • Create, optimize and customize CNC programs directly on the machine • Monitoring the manufacturing process and continuous monitoring of dimensional accuracy and surface quality • Implementation of intermediate and final controls with common measuring means • Analysis of dimensional deviations and independent correction of machine parameters • Documentation of test results and production data • implementation of small maintenance and maintenance measures on machines • Close cooperation with work preparation, quality assurance and production management

Your working day as a CNC lathe (m/w/d)

At the beginning of your shift you will get an overview of the current production orders. Technical drawings, work plans and production documents form the basis of your work. You plan your machining steps carefully and ensure that tools, clamping means and materials are optimally prepared.

During processing, you continuously monitor the machine parameters. Forwarding, speed and tool wear, you also have a look at the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the manufactured components. Regular interim measurements are of course part of your workflow.

In case of deviations, you react immediately: you analyze causes, correct parameters and make sure that the process continues to be stable. At the same time, you will be in contact with colleagues from adjacent areas to make production processes efficient. Your technical understanding helps you critically question processes and initiate improvements.

Your profile

• Complete vocational training as a machining mechanic, industrial mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession • Multiannual experience in CNC turning and precision machining of metallic materials • Funded knowledge in setting up, programming and optimizing CNC lathes • Secure reading and interpreting of technical drawings and understanding of complex component geometries • Experience in handling standard measuring instruments for measuring and quality control • Embossed quality awareness as well as structured and careful working • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and tool technology • willingness to work in the shift system if the production process requires • Teamability, Responsibility and Solution-oriented Operation
