Your tasks:

• Target group-oriented support: Your focus is on the care of children and young people with mental disabilities, often in combination with autism, mental or physical limitations, as well as challenging behaviors
• Group work: You work in one of the five small groups of our house and attend four young residents daily
• Daily support: You motivate and accompany children and young people in everyday processes, such as morning routine, including teeth cleaning and washing
• Individual support: You support children and young people according to the help plan. As a reference person, you create individual educational offers, accompany them in school day-to-day, take care of parent work and strengthen their participation
• Leisure design: After school, weekends and holidays, you plan leisure together with the children and young people, introduce your creative ideas and create activities such as crafts, artisanal actions or excursions
• Deescalation: In challenging situations, you will find a calm and solution-oriented deescalation by using proven techniques

What you should bring:

• Qualification: You have a completed training as a cure nurse / educator (m/w/d) or a completed study on cure education (m/w/d)
• ProDeMa®: Ideally you have completed basic training in ProDeMa ®
• Experience: You have knowledge in the field of children and young people with disabilities
• Flexibility: You are ready to work in shift service (breakfast service 06:[for phone number see the original ad]:00 and late service 13:[for phone number see the original ad]:15) as well as on two weekends a month
