Financial Accountant – Construction Industry (m/f/d)

Our client is a traditional, owner-managed and highly substantiated construction company with headquarters in Südbrandenburg, with its approx. 130 employees at a total of three locations as general contractors offer services for various disciplines of the construction industry. The range of services extends to the realization of production buildings, logistics halls and consumer markets, to the construction of office and residential buildings as well as infrastructure structures. Due to the very good order situation, we are looking for a dedicated and implementation-oriented personality at the headquarters in Südbrandenburg, in an indefinite position. Projektmanager (m/w/d), to strengthen the business sector of the company and actively support further professionalisation.

As a future member (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the independent supervision of all areas of financial accounting. In addition to the debitor and creditor accounting, in particular the settlement of bills and final accounts according to VOB/B and BGB, the management of guarantees and the turnover tax treatment of construction-specific facts are among the central tasks. In addition, you are responsible for payment transactions, liquidity management and are involved in monthly and annual accounts according to HGB.

The position addresses candidates (m/w/d) with business studies or a completed commercial vocational training (tax specialist, industrial businessman or similar), which has ideally been supplemented with a further education on the account book holder(IHK). Based on this, the future job owner (m/w/d) has several years of professional experience in financial accounting. Since an understanding of the industry-specific processes, in particular in the handling of impact chains, construction-law accounting processes, guarantees and the special tax requirements of the construction industry, such as the application of § 13b UstG, is necessary for the successful performance of the activity, the corresponding industry experience within the construction industry is assumed.
