Analyze and expand existing software systems and applications in a heterogeneous, complex IT system environment based on IBM Mainframe architecture Extension and optimization of existing systems and applications using DB2, IMS and CICS Software development with COBOL, SQL, JCL for Mainframe Software Creation and maintenance of complex SQL queries for data query Building automated batch processes under structures such as TWS/OPC IT project management and stakeholder management Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for developed systems and applications
Completed study of practical / applied computer science or training as a specialist (w/m/d) Experiences in the mainframe environment with COBOL and in designing software as well as tuning options with practice of database modeling Practical experience with complex SQL queries as well as database performance analyses and their optimization Safe handling of database management systems, preferably DB2 and the associated database languages and tools Knowledge of structures in TWS / OPC to build automated batch processes Practical experience in IT project management e.g. process risk analysis, requirement management, business client communication Good knowledge of English, German and/or French
