Chief Terminal Officer for Cruise Gate Hamburg (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the organisation of ship calls and the positioning of the ships at the terminals as well as the coordination of external service providers in terminal operation. You are responsible for the implementation and supervision of port security regulations (Port Facility Security Officer) as well as compliance with the CGH's terminal usage regulations. You take the handling of Passenger Boarding Bridges and Gangways at the terminals. You are responsible for the management of external and internal service providers and are contact personin and problem solverin in case of difficulties in the daily business of the terminal operation. You carry out purchasing and procurement processes for services and materials. You bring your know-how and skills into development and optimization projects

You have completed technical, business or nautical studies or have comparable knowledge and experience in the field of shipping, port management or tourism. You look back on experience in the process of handling the cruise You bring a good understanding of technical processes and building technology. Further training as Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) is desirable. Your experience with the maintenance and repair of technical equipment is beneficial. You communicate well and safely in English. You enjoy dealing with people and a high service orientation. Independent action and self-initiative are of course for you. You have a high sense of responsibility and a safe performance.
